New Amazon Associates Operating Agreement

Please note the changes in the Amazon Guidelines! If I understand correctly, for now this only applies to the associates program in Europe. Most importantly, Amazon now requires you to clearly state that you are participating in the Amazon partner program on your website (also the exact country, so please change your Amazon disclaimer accordingly), and they now have the right to charge 10€ if you are not generating sales within 3 years. Personally, I have the feeling that Amazon does not want people to use their service, and I cannot help but advise everybody to stop using the Amazon webservice. JCollection will probably support the webservice as long as I still have an account and do not have to pay for doing advertisement for Amazon.

As of June 2010, I am able to offer professional JCollection support! The component itself stays free, of course, and this support forum is also maintained. The professional support option is targeted at individuals who would like me to personally help setting up a Joomla site running JCollection. Welcome to the JCollection homepage!

JCollection is a Joomla-component that allows to manage your book/CD/DVD/game collection. It provides access to information from various webservices (such as Amazon, Google books, ISBNdb, Yahoo maps, eBay, ...).

The current development status is beta, i.e. the code is not quite polished, but mostly feature-complete. The JCollection Demo menu entry on the left gives a first impression, the source code is part of the release.
