Hello Thorsten,
Thanks for the answer you gave me a few weeks ago with the side bar module tweak. However, now I am having problems trying to show only the items of a category of a certain type. In my website I have two types: books and articles and both have the same categories. However, using jcollection plugins and modules I only manage to show ALL the items of a certain category and not the books of that category and the articles of that category separetely. Do I have to change any parameter of a plugin? Any advice/help/suggestion?

Hi Pablo,

I'll have a look into this. But: there is certainly no way to do this out of the box. The problem is that it is not the items that have a type assigned, but it is the info sets (that make an item). So in general, each item can consist of many info sets and hence of many types.
