How to display Jcollection items in "boxes"? 1 Year, 6 Months ago

Hi, Thorsten.
I'm quite new to JCollection, and maybe my question is a silly one. My problem is quite simple: I would like to display the items of my collections in boxes (thin lines around the items) like in the JCollection Demo examples.
I spent a lot of time looking for the parameter to set, with no result: categories, books, etc are displayed in colums as requested but without the box around.
I installed JCollettion 0.9.18, with Joomla 1.5 and Windows 7 (64bit).
Thanks in advance for yur help.
Lucky

Hi,
first of all, you should really update JCollection to the most recent version. Then there are two ways to tweak the category/list views: the number of columns is a parameter that can be set globally or per menu entry. The actual style is given by a CSS file (views/category/tmpl/default.css). The settings here on this page are just the stanard settings with 2 columns.
HTH,
Thorsten.

Hi, Thorsten.
your advice has been precious. Updating to version 0.9.23 resolved the problem.
Thanks again.
