JCollection Homepage

Hi, how can I aligned left my item image. Check this :www.alittlewhite.com/ods . I want it same with the demo : jcollection.thorsten-riess.de/jcollection/category/3-books

the shipped CSS files are the same that I use here, it just seems that your images are of a different shape which shifts things around. To adjust the image size and position (amongst other things), have a look at the file "/components/com_jcollection/views/category/tmpl/default.css" (resp. .../list/tmpl/... for the list view). It is the setting ".jc_itemimg", you can try adjusting the percentage such that it fits better with your page layout. Do not forget to save your changes since they will be overwritten when updating the component!

Thank you Thorsten, thats good solution. Now I want to display latest item (5-10 items) on my frontpage. And I want if I added new item, that item will be shown on first line in frontpage. Can you help me, please?

Hi,
putting stuff from JCollection on the frontpage is indeed a problem. The easiest way is to use the list module (possibly in conjunction with a Joomla plugin that allows to place module in the content area). Alternatively, you can try the JCollection content plugin, but in general it is not very nice looking.
