No images for my books 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago

Hello everybody, i just installed this component and i think it´s very cool, but due to my little knowledge i can´t get it work as i want

The problem is that when i try to select an image for the cover of a book, the field shows "select image", but it does not display any image for me to select. I think maybe i should upload the images to a specific directory, but i don´t know where or how. Help me please!!!

ok i think i have figured out how to do it. But there is still one thing i don´t know how to fix, i want the "trackback link" to dissapear from my navigation bar, how can i do it?

Hi, JCollection looks for images in the /images/jcollection folder. In principle, it should be possible to upload via the "upload" button when editing an item, but the Joomla upload manager seems somehow buggy... so manual upload is the safest way. For the trackback link, have a look at the global JCollection configuration, there is a switch to disable it. HTH, Thorsten.
