Re: v0.9.9 shows nothing ! 11 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Something is still not all right.

I could insert a new item. Everything seems ok.

Then i delete this one and import all my old Collection 0.4 items.

There are now over 600 Items in 4 categories. No one shows anything !

1.) The ASIN Number from Amzone are not imported.
So i have to reedit all items manually if i want to use the new JCollection !

2.) I tried to insert a ASIN manually togehter with a new Infoset. I gave this Inoset the same name like the associated item. ( Game - Overlord 2 )

The result : Nothing is shown for this item

Hi,
I haven't tested the import very much, so there might be some issues (although it worked for me so far). In this case, I think it is related to the original issue: the info sets are not published and approved. So, no need to insert new info sets, but (in the backenend) go to "info sets" and publish & approve them - the Amazon ASINs should also be there. Or are they really not imported? That would mean serious problems with the import function. Moreover, the "overwrite of the item parameters should all be set to "1" (after import, they are not set). I attach a new /administrator/components/com_jcollection/controllers/importexport.php which publishes and approves imported items according to the original state.
Thorsten.

Oh, and I almost forgot: I haven't included webservice types for everything, games might be missing!

Just had a look, video games were indeed missing. If you'd like to add it manually, add a new webservice type with name "Video Games", webservice "amazon", fill title/description/url/image XPath fields just like in the other Amazon webservice types. For info1, info2 and info3 you may use
info1 XPath: /ItemLookupResponse/Items/Item/ItemAttributes/Platform
info2 XPath: /ItemLookupResponse/Items/Item/ItemAttributes/Publisher
info3 XPath: /ItemLookupResponse/Items/Item/ItemAttributes/ReleaseDate

The Infosets and ASIN Numbers are not imported ! Not for my Movies and not for my Games.

Hi,
just for clarification: are the info sets there in the backend "info sets" view or are they missing there as well? And did this only happen for some of the items (games/movies) and the rest got imported or is everything missing?
I am still not sure if this is related to problems in the import function or a display issue.
Thorsten.
