JCollection Homepage

Today i installed your latest JCollection Version ( v0.9.9 ).

But now i see no information for my testitems ! Nothing. Only the Name !

I am the only one with this problem ?

I should mention that one of the changes of 0.9.9 was that now the "published" and "approved" setting of individual info sets are honoured (before, they were ignored and everything was simply displayed according to the "published" and "approved" setting of the corresponding item). To make a smooth transition, the installation routine sets all "old" info sets (i.e. that were present before the update) to published and approved automatically. Was your item present before or did you insert a fresh one? And if it is fresh, which way did you use to add it (backend/frontend/frontend wizard)? It seems to me that your report is related to this transition, either the automatic setting went wrong or something else prevents the info sets from being pulished. If it is a fresh item, "published" and "approved" are set according to the user type, i.e. they are both set if the user is a "publisher" or above. Unfortunately, there is also a small bug in the backend info set view (the new view that allows to edit individual info sets separate from the items) such that the parameters (including published and approved) cannot be changed properly. I'll release a fixed version soon! For now, to be able to change the published/approved state of an info set in backend, copy the attached file to /administrator/components/com_jcollection/views/info/tmpl (overwriting the old one).

- At first there were two items still present before I updated the old version to 0.9.9. Then I tried to insert a new one.

And if it is fresh, which way did you use to add it (backend/frontend/frontend wizard)?
- backend -> New as Admin

Unfortunately, there is also a small bug in the backend info set view (the new view that allows to edit individual info sets separate from the items) such that the parameters (including published and approved) cannot be changed properly.
- I can confirm this bug

I will try the fix as soon as possible.

So, I

- uninstall Jcollection at the backend
- manually drop all tables at the database
- install JCollection Ver 0.9.9
- change the default file with the one you post in here
- add a new item at backend

The result is the same. Nothing is shown.

Hi,
as I mentioned before: the default.php was just a quick fix to be able to publish info sets from backend, the problem is that newly created info sets are unpublished by default and there was no way to publish them afterwards. Please check v0.9.10, everything should be fixed there.

Ok, it has something to do in the way it saves the info Set. It hasn´t save the ASIN correctly. Now it seems to work.

I try the new Version.
