Rent or Lend & Return ? 2 Years, 6 Months ago

Hi there,
I really like the effort and think that it is a great component for Joomla.
But I am really waiting for 2 Buttons in the Front-End.
One should be called "Rent or Lend", after a click I should be able to enter a Name and then the Button "Returned".
No matter what kind of collection you have, DVDs, BluRays, Books, CDs, it happens frequently that you give something to a friend for a few weeks and it would be totally great if you could alway keep track of these actions in this Database.

Hi,
such a feature was (and still is) on the TODO list of Collection Manager for quite a while, and I really hope that I finally manage to include it in JCollection (but that will be after the baby pause)!

Ok, now I extended the list feature such that rent/lend and return are easily done.
1. Create a list category, say "state", set the parameter "exclusive" to "toggle"
2. Create two lists within this category, say "lent to" and "returned", for "lent to" set the parameter "use_extra" to "yes"
This should do it!
I just discovered that the frontend editing does not work very well if you are not logged in as administrator, gotta change that in the next version.
